MARGAO: Stating the people of Benaulim will re-elect him again for the next Assembly elections, NCP Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao on Saturday informed that the railway underpass way at Seraulim will be inaugurated before the next elections.
Addressing the gathering at Varca, the Benaulim MLA also said that the collapsed walkway at Orlim will be re-constructed. Churchill on Saturday distributed nearly 124 sanctioned letters to the beneficiaries of Laadli Laxmi.
“The development which has been done in tenure of mine will be remembered for a long time. None of the previous MLA had done developmental works as compared to last four years and none will be able to do it in the near future,” he claimed.
Churchill said that the hardships faced by the people at Seraulim will be resolved very soon, as the railway underpass way will be inaugurated in the next few months.
“The government has initiated inquiry about the collapsed of the walkway at Orlim. However, it will be reconstructed very soon,” he stated.
He informed the gathering that he is for the betterment of the people, and has distributed nearly Rs 5 crore to nearly 500 beneficiaries of Laadli Laxmi in the Benaulim Constituency. Besides, 124 more applications have been sanctioned.
