Huge crowds rushed to an ATM in Baina Monday evening, after the machine started dishing out excess cash. In some cases, it dispensed doubled the amount the customer had asked to be withdrawn. Many people who withdrew Rs 5000 received Rs 12,500 instead, and after hearing about this ‘generous’ ATM, people rushed from distant localities to withdraw cash. Police and bank officials rushed to the site and closed the ATM.
