CURCHOREM: Headmaster of Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem Fr Jerry Vaz on Sunday cautioned the authorities including public representatives and urged them not to take people for granted and they have to do lots more as some people are still struggling to get their basic needs such as drinking water.

“Politicians and officials must not take the people for granted as they cannot fool all the people all the time as people of Goa are wise enough,” said Fr Vaz and added that the country is currently facing a number of social issues including environmental, social and economic.
Citing the recent study by the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) that we are ingesting microplastics along with our drinking water, chief guest alma mater Dr Ranjita Rajadhaksha urged the gathering to avoid and convey the message to other people not to use plastic as much as possible so that we can improve our health by preserving our environment.
