Perform duties meticulously, Goa DGP advises constables at passing out parade

VALPOI: The passing out parade of 54 newly recruited police constables was held at the Police Training School, Valpoi, on Tuesday morning. Goa DGP Jaspal Singh was chief guest on the occasion and received the salute from the newly passed recruits during the march past. Neha Satpalkar was the parade commander.

The Goa DGP addressed the recruits and advised them to perform their duties meticulously as per the law. He also advised them to be tourist friendly and attend to tourists/ accident victims properly.

The principal of the Police Training School, Valpoi, Suchita Dessai, welcomed the gathering.  Vice Principal Roy Pereira administered the oath to the newly passed out recruits. PI Nolasco Raposo proposed the vote of thanks.

The new recruits have completed three months training in indoor, outdoor and musketry. IGP Omvir Singh Bishnoi, DIGP Aslam Khan and other senior police officers were also present for the parade. The outstanding recruits were recognised – Jayant Tilve was awarded as the Best Indoor award,  Best Outdoor and Best Allrounder awards went to Sakshi Shankar Dessai and Durga Akarkar was awarded for the Best Firing.
