PANJIM: The government has extended the period for availing the installation of individual households bio-digester toilets in the State under ‘Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)’ to the left out beneficiaries identified during the survey conducted by the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) with nominal share from the beneficiary from May 25 to June 10 in order to achieve a clean and open defecation free (ODF) India by October 2.
All the left out identified beneficiaries may submit their forms duly filled in their respective village panchayat on or before June 10. In order to facilitate the beneficiaries all the village panchayat offices will be kept open on all holidays till final June 10.
