PERNEM: The Pernem locals have expressed anger over constant power cuts in the taluka and have demanded both MLAs look into the laying of underground cables at the earliest.
This has also been affecting local businesses in their day-to-day operations.
During monsoons cables often are damaged due to falling trees and so, the government had planned to lay underground cables.
Old cable wires and poles are one of the main reasons for this issue.
