PERNEM: Pernem Police have cracked the Naibag labourer’s murder case within three hours of its registration. The case, which surfaced earlier on Saturday with a body being found in the river at Naibag, Pernem, has culminated in the arrest of two suspects.
According to Senior Deputy Police Officer (SDPO) of Pernem, Jivba Dalvi, the victim was identified as Abnejar, aged 47, hailing from Naibag, Pernem and originally from Simdega, Jharkhand. The grim discovery prompted Pernem Police to swiftly initiate a murder investigation, given the condition of the deceased.
Within a mere three hours of intensive investigation, the perpetrators behind the heinous act were identified and apprehended. One of the accused was traced to Maharashtra, highlighting the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies across state borders.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Satish Kullu and Junel Kullu, both hail from Simdega, Jharkhand.
