SANGUEM: Social Welfare Minister and Sanguem MLA, Subhash Phaldessai has claimed that the IIT project proposed in Sanguem will be environment friendly and also it will bring in development in the constituency.
Speaking about the project, Phaldesai said that while the land cover is hilly and covered with trees, no deforestation will be done. “Our intention is clear that we cannot harm nature for constructing the IIT project. Our aim is that IIT project should come in area like Sanguem constituency because we are still very much behind in development and such projects can generate employment. It is one of the much awaited dream projects which will benefit the future of Sanguem,” Phaldessai stated.
