MARGAO: Aquem Baixo Sarpanch Siddesh Bhagat along with panchayat members felicitated Sudesh Shetkar, who hails from neighbouring Rumdamol Housing Board for securing PhD degree in Environmental Accounting.
Along with Siddesh Subhash Satadekar and Ramdas Usgaonkar and former panch Denny visited Sudesh at his residence even though he hails from Rumdamol.
“Achievements of youngsters are not recognized and obtaining a PhD in Environmental Accounting is a laudable achievement specially given the polluted circumstances that we live in,” said Siddesh giving reasons why he felicitated Sudesh.
Meanwhile, Sudesh said he will continue to work to protect Goa’s environment and would like to see Goa plastic free.
