MAPUSA: Pilerne SC came from a goal down to edge past Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club in the GFA’s Second Division League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Monday.
Vagator PY colts drew the first blood through Alister Monteiro in the very 7th minute of play only to find Pilerne SC’s Chandan Govekar level terms in the 37th minute.
On crossing over, Saienesh Gaonkar netted the winning goal in the 79th minute of play from inside the 18-yard box, 2-1.
At Rosary ground, Navelim, Fr Agnel YSC, Paroda, down Carmel SC 4-1.
Nikhil Kaleksr netted a hat-trick while Sadanand Gaunkar netted a goal for Fr Agnel YSC, while Carmel SC reduced the margin through Sadroy Costa.
