MAPUSA: Pilerne-Marra Panchayat on Monday imposed a voluntary lockdown till May 10 with restricted timing on the movement of public from 6 am to 12 noon.
The panchayat notice states that salons, beauty parlours and spas will remain shut while restaurants registered with registered with food ordering and delivery platforms and take away services will be allowed to operate till 9 pm.
Only pharmacies and banks will be open till 12 pm.
In a terse warning, the panchayat notice further states that if any business establishment is found violating the order then strict action will be initiated including revoking of licence.
If any person tests COVID positive then all the other family members have to isolate themselves for 17 days till their reports are out.
