VALPOI: Shaikh Salim (50), a resident of Pilgao-Bicholim, presumably fell into a trench and died, a couple of days ago.
According to Valpoi police, Salim was heading towards Bicholim on an Access scooter, after dropping one of his relatives at Nanus.
“Since Shaikh did not reach home, his family came to search for him and found his body lying in the trench on Tuesday afternoon. We conducted the panchnama and referred the body to Goa Medical College for post-mortem,” police informed.
Meanwhile, locals say that two-wheeler riders are the most vulnerable on this road as a section of road is having sharp turns and accident prone.
