PONDA: Muktha Naveen Patel (14), a student of Almeida High School, who was pillion riding on a scooter died when a truck that was trailing behind hit her on Thursday at 12.45 pm.
According to Police, the accident took place at KTC Bus Stand near Safa Masjid. The girl is a resident of Dhavlim and was proceeding with her aunty on an Access scooter.
Ponda Police detained truck driver Ameensab Jalladin Sayyad and conducting further investigation.
