CUNCOLIM: Cuncolim Police have registered a case against one Urbano Mendes for riding his two-wheeler in a rash and negligent manner and causing death of a woman.
An offence was registered under Section 279 and 304 A of IPC, the police said. It may be recalled that Ida Gomes, aged 59, a resident of Panzorconi, Cuncolim, who was injured in a two-wheeler accident, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. The accident took place near Panzorconi while she was riding pillion along with her husband.
