MARGAO: The three pimps arrested by Colva Police in connection with prostitution were remanded to five days police custody by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao, on Sunday.
The alleged accused namely Heena Pathan (34), Ahemadnagar, Maharashtra, Arun Kumar (28), Panipat, Haryana and Satwant Singh (27), Karnal, Haryana were arrested by Colva Police while handing over three girls for the prospective customers for prostitution purpose.
Police had send the three girls to protective home at Merces for care and protection and their statements have been recorded after conducting legal formalities.
