In yet another incident highlighting the substandard work carried out by the PWD and the National Highway contractor, the recently repaired main PWD water pipeline burst for the second time along the Guirim-Mapusa service road on Monday morning.
The road was completely flooded due to which traffic was diverted through the internal roads. As a result of the major pipeline rupturing, Guirim and surrounding areas will be affected with no water supply.
