Plaints against Slumdog producer filed

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)has filed complaints against the producer, writer and directors of Slumdog Millionaire, alleging the Oscar- nominated film portrays Indian culture in bad light and has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.
The complaints have accused Christian Colson (producer) Simon Beaufoy and Vikas Swarup (the writers) and directors Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandon of ‘hurting religious sentiments’.
HJS filed complaints at Mapusa Panjim and Margao police stations.
HJS had conducted a protest dharna outside Inox and it was followed by Shiv Sainiks going on a rampage there for which their leaders were arrested.
