PANJIM: Urban Development Minister Vishwajit Rane informed that the State government has moved a proposal to the Union government to consider developing Mopa as a Smart City.
Rane expressed confidence that it will be chosen for development by the Government of India.
He was speaking to media persons after commissioning the first Smart road developed from Bal Bhavan to Caculo Mall junction stretch under the Smart City Mission on Thursday in the presence of North Goa Collector Mamu Hage, Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Mayor Rohit Monserrate and others.
