PANJIM: The Goa government has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking to implement Goa Mineral Ore Permanent Fund Trust Scheme, which was notified in July 2021.The petition has been filed by Director of Mines and geology Suresh Shanbhogue. The petitioner stated that the government had framed the Goa Mineral Ore Permanent Fund Trust Scheme for the protection of inter-generational equity with the aim of furthering the cause of sustainable development.
