PANJIM: The State government will release installment to various farmers across all the talukas under Prime Minister’s flagship scheme on December 25, at 12 noon.
PM Kisan Scheme is a flagship scheme of Government of India under which Rs 6,000 is paid in three quarterly installments to eligible farmers.
Total 9,700 farmers from Goa are already receiving benefit under this scheme.
On December 25, at 12 noon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be releasing the installment due for the period between December 2020 and March 2021.
Goa Agriculture Department has organised programme in all the talukas where the installment would be paid to the farmers by various leaders.
At Pernem, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will be releasing installment at Pedne Taluka Shetkari Society, BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade and local MLA Nilkant Halarnkar would be releasing at Tivim, Pirna; Speaker Rajesh Patnekar at Zonal Agriculture Officer at Bicholim, Union Minister Shripad Naik at Pale (Sanquelim) Panchayat Hall; PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar at Rakshasmalik Devasthan at Dharbandora; DyCM Chandrakant Kavlekar at Quepem Municipal Hall; Subhash Shirodkar, Vasudev Meng Gaonkar and Subhash Faldesai at VKS Society Rivona for Sanguem and Dy Speaker Isidore Fernandes at Sristhal Panchayat Hall, Canacona.
