PONDA: Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) chairperson Vishwanath Dalvi tendered his resignation on Wednesday.
According to sources, he submitted his resignation to the DMA.
Sources further informed that Ponda MLA Ravi Naik’s son Ritesh would be the next chairperson.
It may be recalled that Ritesh and two Congress councillors joined the BJP last year. There were rumours then that Ritesh would be the chairperson.
