BICHOLIM: The no-confidence motion against Mayem-Vaiginim Sarpanch Vijay Pole was passed by 6-5 votes at a meeting held in the panchayat hall, on Friday.
In the eleven-member panchayat, Vishwas Chodankar, Krishna Parab, Santosh Gadekar, Bonita Gaonkar, Urvi Masurkar and Kunda Mandrekar voted against the sarpanch.
Meanwhile, the same six members also filed no-confidence motion against Deputy Sarpanch Seema Arondekar on Friday, for not taking other members into confidence while undertaking developmental activities and also not discharging duties properly.
