MARGAO: The Fatorda Police present at the vigil organised by Goa Forward Party attempted to stop the public address by Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai.
Police Inspector Kapil Nayak informed Vijai that he doesn’t have the permission to use the loudspeaker for the vigil. Vijai dared the PI to stop him from addressing and in turn accused the officer of protecting the rapists by not allowing the party to hold the vigil.
Vijai said, “File a case against us, it will prove that the police support rapists.”
