PANJIM: The Goa police on Friday bust the gang involved in series of gold chains snatching in various parts of Goa during the last few days with the arrest of two persons.
The police gave the names of the accused as Ajay Boghulkar, a native of Haval Nagar, Belgaum, Karnataka and Mohammad Sarfraj of Dovorlim.
Both the accused were arrested by PSI Bharat Kharat and PSI Dipesh Shetkar with the assistance of call monitoring centre from South Goa.
Shetkar is conducting further investigations under the guidance of Maina-Curtorim PI Shivram Vaigankar.
