MAPUSA: Calangute Police directed the village panchayat to cancel the establishment licence of a salon and spa located at Guaravaddo.
Acting on the complaint filed by former sarpanch Joseph Sequeira, Calangute Police have asked the panchayat to cancel establishment licence of the salon and spa at Guaravaddo, Calangute. Police have registered an offence against the operator of said salon and spa under Sections 341, 506, 384, 23, 394, 504, r/w 34 of the IPC.
Calangute Police have also booked 29-year-old Saligao resident Santosh Raju Naik, under the provision of the Goa Tourist Trade Act and was produced before Director of Tourism, Panjim, wherein he was directed to pay a fine of Rs 2,000.
