VASCO: A raid by Crime Branch sleuth of Goa Police on Tuesday evening led to the discovery of a mini casino operating in the heart of Vasco city. Few computers, cash were seized, while about 25 people were also picked up by the crime branch officials in the raid.
According to the information, based on reliable information, the crime branch officials raided two shops located in one of the commercial building behind Vasco fish market. “These shops were converted into mini casinos. Several men, aged between 21 and 40 years were found gambling in the room and were picked up for investigations. The raiding team also seized various gambling materials/machines and cash” sources informed. Further investigation is in progress.
