PANJIM: Verna Police Station re-inaugurated the police outpost IDC Verna on Tuesday on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDPO Vasco) Sunita Sawant inaugurated in the presence of President of Verna Industries Association Damodar Kochkar, PI Verna Police Station Sandesh Chodankar, PSI Kiran Naik, Pradeep D’Costa, Founder of Powerland Agro Vehicles Limited Verna Tej Naik and Verna Police Croce and Cops Community Policing Unit Anish Quenim and others.
The outpost which wasn’t operational for many years was restored by Verna Police and community together to ensure presence in the Verna Industrial Estate, thereby enhancing the security and vigilance of the area.
