MARGAO: Margao police is investigating into the “Nodal links” of the murder convict from Ratnagiri with inter-state criminal gangs and their operations in other states.
The police moved the local court for remand of the accused to 14 days police custody.
Margao police said they had initially suspected the accused to be involved in a host of burglaries in the Margao-Navelim areas. “But when we laid our hands on the 9mm pistol and three bullets on his person, we decided to investigate the case in all angles,” PI Sudesh Naik said.
