PANJIM: A Mapusa Police team has been sent to Maharashtra for further investigations in the case where Advocate Dynaneshwar Kalangutkar was attacked with a syringe.
Sources said that during investigation they came across some leads after which the team was sent to the neighbouring State. They said that the syringe which was recovered has been sent to Hyderabad for lab testing.
Police officials said the complainant was in his office, when three unknown persons attacked him. The first man entered the office and caught him while another injected some liquid into his hips and arm through a syringe and later all three fled.
