PANJIM: Goa State Commission for Women (GSCW) has hit out at the police for the delay in handling the case of alleged molestation of a student by a teacher of a Curchorem school. Though the parents of the girl immediately informed the police and the management of the incident, no immediate action has been taken by the police.
GSCW Chairperson Adv Vidya Shet said, “The police did not even arrest the alleged accused, nor did they call him to the police station for questioning. They have failed to do justice to their uniform.”
