Police urged to renew bond with nature

MARGAO: South Goa Police observed World Environment Day by planting saplings of indigenous plants at the various police stations and outposts and even police quarters under the specific theme of “Re-imagine, Recreate and Restore” environment, on Saturday.

“Our generation must make peace with nature. We have to reverse climate change and each one must do his part. Even a small step such as refusing to use plastic bags can go a long way,” said South Goa Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar Singh while urging the police personnel to renew their bond with nature.
