PONDA: The four minor boys who were sent from Apna Ghar, Merces, to Matruchaya Bal Kalan Ashram, Ponda, who escaped from next day morning are yet to be traced.
The minors, who were nabbed in a theft case at the Margao Railway Station last month, were referred to the Apna Ghar. On March 31, they were sent to the Matruchaya, Ponda, from where they escaped next day early morning.
The Matruchaya official Arun Dharmadhikari has filed a missing complaint at the Ponda Police Station in this regard. The police have registered kidnapping case against unknown person/s and are conducting investigations.
Ponda PI Vijay Kumar Chodankar said that there was no information about the involvement of minor in theft case.
Three missing boys are from Chandigarh and one is from Kasargod, Kerala. All the four minor boys are aged between 13 and 16 years.
