PANJIM: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Kunal on Monday reviewed preparedness of the electoral activities as the State is expected to go to the polls in March 2017.
The term of the current Assembly ends in March next year. The CEO had earlier suggested that the Assembly elections can be held along with those of the States of Manipur, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
Present at the meeting, among others, were North Goa Collector Agnelo Fernandes, South Goa Collector Swapnil Naik, North Goa Additional Collector Surendra Naik, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Narayan Navti, Assistant CEO Devidas Gaunkar, Nodal Officer SVEEP Dr Durgaprasad, Officer on Special Duty Sanjiv Gadkar and Asstt Nodal Officer (Media) CEO Office John Aguiar.
