With the Ponda Assembly by-elections tentatively scheduled to be held in April 2026, party leader Apurv Dalvi said that he has been actively working for the party and expressed confidence that the leadership will take an appropriate decision regarding the candidature.
Speaking to the media, Dalvi stated that candidate selection rests with the party high command. “I have been doing the work of the party, and the party will make the right decision. I am sure the party will consider me, as I have been sincerely doing the party’s work for many years,” he said.
