Ponda: Ponda Carnival Committee in coordination with Goa Tourism Department Cooperation has organised annual Carnaval parade at Ponda On March 4 at 4 pm from Casa Menino to Tisk Ponda. Chairperson Pradeep Naik has been elected as the Chairman of Carnaval Committee while Venktesh Naik as Chairman of working committee, Chief Officer Navanth Naik as treasurer and Vishwanath Davli as treasurer. Orchestra has been organised at Tisk Ponda on March 3 while float parade on March 4.
Prize distribution and followed by mimicry, Tiatr will be held on March 5.
There will be grand inaugural function at the hands of local MLAs Ministers. The prizes for floats in traditonal category, club and Institutions, the Fun Junk Category , Clown and Joker will be awarded.
