PONDA: Ponda locals filed a complaint with the flying squad about hill cutting at Bond Bag in Bethora.
Environmentalist Sandeep Parkar said that he had complained about illegal hill cutting in private forest land at Bond Bag in Bethora.
“Earlier in 2020 after the hill cutting complaint, the flying squad and the Town and Country Planning department officials had inspected the area and had issued no work order notice. Today again hill cutting and levelling was in progress at the same site against which we have sought action by authorities”, he added.
