According to sources, the truck that was attached was handed over to the transport department for further action.
The raiding team also took note of illegal stacking of sand at the inspected sites.
Ponda sand mining raids
PONDA: Mines department along with Ponda deputy collector and mamlatdar on Wednesday conducted raids at Betki-Khandola, Volvoi, Amona and Shiroda in Ponda taluka and seized one truck involved in illegal sand transportation.
