PANJIM: In a shocking incident, a teacher of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ponda was booked by the Ponda Police for allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old student.
Acting on the complaint filed by the victim’s father, the Ponda Police registered a case against the accused teacher Kedarnath Ram.
The victim’s father in his complaint stated that the accused teacher Kedarnath assaulted his son, who sustained an injury. The victim is studying in Class VIII.
Earlier, following the shocking incident, rapprochement attempts between the teacher and the parents failed.
Later, the parent filed a police complaint.
