The Ponda Carnival Committee had requested the government to change the carnival float parade dates.
As per the revised schedule, carnival will open with the first parade in Panjim on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. Thereafter the parades will be held as follows – Margao and Ponda – February 15, Vasco and Curchorem – February 16 and Mapusa and Shiroda – February 17.
