PONDA: In an online cheating case one fraudster claiming to be Naveen Kumar and posing as a headmaster and also as businessman cheated one woman at Ponda to the tune of Rs 1 lakh promising her to supply cement blocks.
Police have registered an offence against this unknown person.
The women who fell prey to his false claim, paid him online, transferring an amount of Rs 98,999.
The fraudster managed to win trust of woman, by pretended to be a supplier of cement blocks and asked her to pay the amount which she did. When she did not receive the cement blocks she finally filed complaint.
