CURCHOREM: A 36-year-old Vishal Shyamkant Naik allegedly committed suicide at his residence at Pontemol on Saturday late evening.
According to investigating officer PSI Arun Endro, “Vishal’s father saw Vishal hanging to a rafter and cried for help. He and his another son later shifted Vishal to Primary Health Centre, Cacora where doctors declared him brought dead and accordingly informed the police”.
Police informed that body has been preserved in the GMC, Bambolim.The deceased was working as security guard at a government school, Pontemol-Curchorem.
