The inaugural mass in Konkani will be celebrated by Archbishop of Bombay Cardinal Oswald Gracias. The exposition will be held from November 22 to January 4, 2015.
The morning masses would be held in Konkani, while evening mass will be in English. The afternoon masses would be dependent on the request by pilgrims, officials said.
About 50 lakh people are expected to participate in the event.

There will be masses in Portuguese, Spanish, and regional Indian languages as was done in the past.
The theme for this year’s exposition is ‘faith creates communion, strengthens family, commissions to renew society’, with churches across Goa already delivering homilies on this theme.
