PANJIM: The Porvorim Police have booked Antonio Crispino Sequeira and others for allegedly cheating Comunidade of Serula.
According to the police, Sagar B Gaude, administrator of Communidade, North Zone, Mapusa, Bardez, lodged a complaint stating that at Salvador do Mundo, the accused persons fraudulently obtained the possession of plot of land bearing survey no 99/9 (old) and survey no 99/9 (new) of village Salvador do Mundo, thereby cheating and causing loss to the Communidade of Serula and government authorities.
An offence has been registered at the Porvorim Police under section 420 read with 34 of IPC and the same is being investigated by PSI M Parab.
