PANJIM: In a tragic case, a youth from Porvorim, named Viral Mehta, lost his life in an accident that occurred in Bambolim on the Goa University road late Sunday night.
Mehta was sitting behind in the vehicle that suffered extensive damage. Incidentally, the car was brand new and was taken from the showroom only recently.
The person driving the car is still critical and in the hospital, while a third occupant of the car survived. Sources said a lady on a two-wheeler was also injured in the accident.
