The State government on Wednesday granted permission to Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) to conduct SSC and HSSC examinations, the timetable for which will be announced on Thursday, Board chairman Ramakrishna Samant said.
The Class X examinations, which were supposed to start on April 2, were postponed in view of the nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The exams were to conclude on April 13. The exams were initially to be held across 23 centers.
The lockdown also resulted in the postponement of three papers of Class XII, the examination of which had begun on February 28.
