Commuting along the Ashvem-Mandrem Bhumika Devi Temple road is turning out to be a nightmare for vehicle users. Locals have pointed out that the road is in a pathetic condition, filled with huge potholes and is prone to accidents. During heavy rains, the potholes are filled with rainwater, making it dangerous to negotiate the potholes.
Despite assurances by the local MLA and the panch members, the road is yet to be hot-mixed. Locals have requested the authorities to immediately hot-mix the road.
