PONDA: In a fire incident at a powder coating unit Gananath Industries, Bethora, a loss of Rs 3 lakh was incurred after goods and material destroyed in fire, on Friday.
Ponda Fire Station In-Charge Sushil Morajkar said the fire station received a call at 4 pm and three fire tenders, two from Ponda Fire Station and one from Kundaim along with fire personnel were deputed to douse the fire and within 45 minutes the fire was extinguished.
