VASCO: The residents of Vidyanagar in Zuarinagar, Sancoale, had to face severe hardships after an electricity distribution box that was attached to the main transformer caught fire on Wednesday morning. The fire, however, was doused by the officials of fire department.
Eyewitnesses say thick was smoke emitting out of the distribution box and within few minutes the whole box was in flames. Some locals alerted the fire personnel who rushed to the site and doused the flames. The power supply was restored to Vidyanagar only in the evening.
