MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council was totally paralysed today afternoon due to a power failure that was not restored even at 5.30 pm. Even inward and outward movement of files could not be done.
Making most out of the power failure, the staffers were loitering around, while the public were seen fretting and fuming.
Shadow Council of Margao Convener Savio Coutinho wondered why the council is not repairing the backup system that has collapsed for the last many months and which has been brought to the notice of th council by them earlier.
