MARGAO: The Additional District and Session Judge South Goa Vincent Silva, on Tuesday, heard arguments placed before the court by the public prosecutor and defence advocate on the application made by the alleged accused in the power rebate scam.
The court sought to know whether there is any provision in law to stop the proceedings and discharge them of the offences. The court heard the arguments and later posted the matter for hearing further arguments on June 18. All the alleged accused have made an application praying to stop the proceedings and discharge them of the offences.
